Sarah Leath, Practice Administrator

Sarah Leath is the Practice Administrator at Fishers Oral Surgery. She is a graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington where she majored in Public Administration. Sarah has been in dentistry for over 18 years with 12 years in oral surgery. She has worked for small and large practices with some practices having single providers and others with multiple providers including general and pediatric dentists, orthodontist and oral surgeons. She began as an assistant and then moved into administration which has assisted her in having a better understanding of the full scope of a dental practice.

Sarah has organized many seminars for various organizations and has given lectures to groups on employment and staffing, insurance issues, and technology developments. She has assisted offices with many computer issues, such as printer problems, how to send x-rays through email, and even how to become a chartless office.

Sarah grew up in Southern Indiana on a dairy farm. She currently resides in Avon with her 2 children where she volunteers for school and athletic organizations, as well as various dental advisory boards. She enjoys traveling, music, hiking, and playing sports, but most of all loves to make you laugh.

Leslie Icenogle, Implant Coordinator

Leslie Icenogle is the Patient Coordinator at Fishers Oral Surgery. Leslie has been in the oral surgery field for over 20 years. She began her career at Western High School and continued her dental education at Indiana University of Kokomo and Wilson?s Professional School of Reporting. Leslie is certified in dental radiology, as well as, CPR. She routinely attends continuing education courses through the American Dental Association and the Levin Group.

When visiting Fishers Oral Surgery, Leslie will typically be the first person our patients meet. She assists patients with scheduling and coordinating appointments with their general dentist, online registration, insurance filing and questions regarding patient accounts. Leslie communicates with your referring dentist, to ensure your visit at Fishers Oral Surgery is as pleasant as possible.

Leslie was born and raised in Russiaville, Indiana. She currently resides in Westfield with her husband and two sons. Leslie enjoys football, skiing, photography and spending time with her children, family and friends.

Carrie Bettis, Surgical Coordinator

Carrie Bettis is the Surgical Coordinator and Surgical Assistant at Fishers Oral Surgery. Carrie has been working in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery since graduating from Dental Careers Foundation?s Dental Assisting Program in the spring of 2003. Carrie has also been certified as a Surgical Anesthesia assistant through the AAOMS Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Anesthesia Assistants Program in 2004. While working full time in 2005, Carrie also earned herCardiac Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.

Carrie?s position at Fishers Oral Surgery involves managing patients before and after surgery, assisting Dr Bennett while performing surgery, and working closely with coworkers to consistently maintain the highest quality of care to our patients.

Carrie was born and raised in the Danville area. She currently resides in Avon with her husband and two daughters. Carrie enjoys music, sports and spending time with friends and family.
